This has been on my mind all night (?)

On one of Alex Simply quilt shows she had a man guest that was using a "weed wacker" on a quilt for something, seriously. Did anyone else see this show and remember the mans name. I know who he is but I just can't seem to spit out his name,on the tip of my tongue, dang it, I can't remember what his idea was for this. I got tickled because the saying goes "men Love thier Toys" and try to use them in any way. I was like what the "heck" is he doing, he's ripping up a quilt. I know someone has to remember this.
My cold medicine isn't helping, back to bed I go codien (sp) is strong!!! LOL!
    Kathy

    Help?
    Happy Quilting,

    Shiner TX

That sounds familiar to me, too. Altho I can't say where I saw it! I think he was fluffing out a rag-time quilt.

I hate when I get those thoughts and can rest until I remember and sometimes that takes a while. I believe it was John Flynn and something about fluffing up a rag quilt. But I might be wrong.

Just went to QNN.tv and it was episode 810 on Fons and Porter.
"Multi-Frame Machine Quilting with John Flynn" it was in the tips section at the end.

((Thanks Ladies)), now I can rest this thought, LOL! "I believe it was John Flynn and something about fluffing up a rag quilt."(( it sure was)) I just thought it was kinda of wierd thinking back on it about using a weed wacker but if it works "great". I thought maybe my medicine was playing tricks on me, I'm glad you guys remembered this because it does sound un believeable doesn't it.
You all are great, Ya saved me!

I always like John Flynn. I liked his method for creating Double Wedding Ring quilts. I would like to see him and Robert Callahan on one of the shows.
