Much of this was accomplished at a guild sewing day yesterday.

My March BOM is all traced, cut and ready to go. I'll work on that while visiting my mom in sunny FL.

I think I deserve to start a new project! I bought 2 yards of Egyptian cotton and have ordered some stencils. I always wanted to try a whole cloth white work quilt. It will be fun designing and marking (I hope!) and I love having a hand quilting project for the evenings. Nancy in NY state where it's 60 degrees today but an ice storm is maybe coming...
You most definitely deserve to start a new project!! BTW - we (in MI) got the storm last night and it definitely laid down some ice, then snow, but it wasn't all that bad.

Gotta love a good productive quilt day!

Thank goodness I am not the only one that has 6-10 projects going. My family keeps tell ing me to finish one then start another. Yeah right I get so happy when I come home with new fabric I have to get right to it. Or if I see a pattern I really like I want to get started right away. So there is another project in the works. Lastnight I pinned 2 baby quilts, and put a boarder around another one. It was a good night.

I started this week working on Drunkard's Path units, using Sharon Schamber's glue method. I'm very happy with the accuracy. I've been cutting the pieces using double-thickness freezer paper templates, and cutting the outside edges over-sized so I can trim to exactly 4 1/2 inches when they're sewn and pressed. I just wish I could make myself make smaller quilts--I always seem to feel it needs to be queen-sized. I may even try to hand quilt this one--haven't done any hand quilting in at least 10 years due to arthritic hands, but maybe I could do an hour or so at a time, and finish it in my lifetime, LOL. Alex's videos have inspired me to try, at least.
