I'm going through a Japanese phase at the moment. I just put my Japanese Dear Jane quilt back on the frame for the second time. I took out about 12" of hand quilting and started over -long story don't ask if you don't want to hear.
I'm also hand appliqueing pine trees onto diamond blocks for a Japanese longetivity quilt - I manage to applique about two a week. I've done 129 with about 31 to go.
I also have all the blocks finished on a quilt I'm calling Sun Spots, Polka Dots. This weekend I should be able to sew all the rows together and put the borders on.
This week I cut out the templates for two other quilts that I'm planning. I'm having trouble staying focused lately. Too many projects in various stages of completetion. Years ago I would never have done that.

I have too many WIP/UFO's, but what I'm actively working on right now is Thimbleberry Club '06, a log cabin (wedding gift - wedding 6/9), 3 snowmen wallhangings (all alike except some color variations) and a poinsettia wall hanging. I'm losing motivation for the wallhangings since it appears spring may finally be here - I'm not taking any bets on that with the snow we had Wed and that other areas are getting now!!

Update - My Blazing star is finished and presented, but I have had a request for matching pillows and a wall hanging if I have enough scrap left, my first DWR has all it's scrappy parts done and I am adding melons and making rows now, I am planning a second DWR in shades of brown and gold for my SIL's wedding present (wedding's in June but she already knows I is going to be more like a first anniversary thing, lol), and I found out that at 31 years of age I am expecting to have a new sibling (My dad is only 53) so I have a baby quilt to make!!! Boy, the projects just keep coming

Ran across this topic while searching something else in the forum and thought this might be a good topic to revive. My update #2 is that the Blazing star pillow shams are now finished, and my SIL's double wedding ring is peiced and I will be basting it today! You can see an under construction picture of it in my profile in my personal photos. It ended up being a signature quilt, with signatures collected at the reception. The color scheme changed to her wedding colors - hot pink, lime green, orange, and yellow (sounds like yuck but they worked  ) and I added pictures from the wedding to the blank circles.
Ok, other things in progress right now. I have the TQS BOM I am working on, a mountain of UFO's, a Rhapsody quilt that is in its planning stages with skeleton drawn - I think I might try my hand at fabric dying for that one, a hand quilted wholecloth baby quilt inspired by show using a sheet my husband cross stitched four years ago when our son was born, and I am considering starting the Civil War Diary Quilt. I also have promised my husband that I would start making stuff to sell to offset some of my costs so I will be starting on a line of table runners, place mats, and wall hangings soon. All in all I am keeping pretty busy here. So folks, what are you all up to right now???

Oh my Oh my I have to many projects going  I have never been able to work at just 1 project at a time so you cant be surprised to hear that i have: 3 single bed sized quilts for kids (Border needs to go on), 3 Chantelles needs binding and 2 needs quilting, 1 Rhapsody in progress (just the border to go on  ), 1 kingsize quilt (square in a square) being pieced...and if i would be bothered to check I bet I have a few UFOs in my drawers

I always have several things going: 2 BOM's, a Santa Sampler that I'm hand quilting- for my guild's show in May, piecing Alex's Bubblegun Dreams pattern with 30's fabrics - it will be called Salt Water Taffy. I'm cutting down my stash by making small (40 x 60) Project Linus quilts and am machine quilting them (8 so far). I also have a small pink stack n whack and a large basket BOM 30's quilt waiting for time and room to quilt. At a retreat in April, I plan on piecing 1 or 2 turning 20's, one in all batiks and one in red and black flannels (my son's HS graduation) and I've been collecting the fabrics for these. I also have to quilt a guild challenge quilt.
My big project lately is finishing a quilt for a friend of a friend. With her 50th birthday approaching(2 yrs. ago!), she handed out muslin squares to 30 friends and family members and then never had the nerve to put them together. All I have left is the quilting, binding, sleeve, and she wants to have a "reveal" party in March. I'll post a photo when it's done. It's been fun learning about this woman by seeing what her loved ones put on their blocks.

I am working on 2 wedding quilts (niece & nephew), 2 baby quilts for my first grandchild expected in 2 months, queen storm at sea quilt for a friend, round robin with my quilt guild, and a lone star together with some friends. That's just the active ones-- not the ones started and tucked away because I don't have time to work on them! What I would love to be working on is a rhapsody, and a bella bella. Maybe later on this year. . sigh!

I have a number of quilts in various stages of completion... QIVSOC... hummmm maybe a new acronym.. LOL.
I have 3 OBW quilts that are either ready to be sandwiched and quilted or only need the border added before finishing. I also have fabric for more OBW quilts that I have to cut out and start on.
I have an old project that I finally got around to finishing the piecing on, that just needs to be sandwiched.
I also have a 4 Patch Posie Supreme, that I need to add a small border to, then the focus fabric border, then that will be ready to be sandwiched.
I usually get my quilts to the point of the top being finished, but then stall at getting them layered and basted. I dread the thought of getting down on the floor to lay them out, and I don't have enough time off from work to go to my LQS to use their tables to layer and baste them. I read some where, possibly here, that taking them to a Long Arm quilter, and having them baste the quilt for you would be an option. So I'm seriously thinking about looking into that, if not having them quilt them for me also... that would give me more time to make more tops, which is the part I enjoy the most.
And I'm also working on some wall hangings that are 4 pineapple blocks, with the fabric placement creating a wreath. Those are going to be an ongoing project for awhile, something to work on when I want to quilt, but don't have a big project ready to go.

I am almost finished with the January TQS BOM. My guild has a BOM that I just bought fabric for. he LQS also has a BOM that I decided to try because it was something different. For my daughter I have a queen size quilt top I am almost done with. I will baste and then machine quilt it. I have another needle turn applique project that I am working on. There is also another small wall hanging using a red toile that I hope to get done sooner than later.
Okay those are the things I jump between now. I know there are several other UFOs lurking in my closet. It is so difficult to say no with so many fun things to make.

I got inspired by montanagramma's 4 patch posy and started a one block wonder.
I just finished a small wall hanging done in winding ways..(templates!!) and to my surprise, I'm actually hand quilting it!! yikes, I hope my sewing machine doesn't get jealous.
also just finished a quilt from the "square dance" book. it started as a basic trip around the world, then was cut into small wonky squares, which were rotated and added star points. it is an awesome looking tessellating pinwheel quilt. I took some progressive photos and as soon as my genius son retrieves my hardrive memory and reformats my ailing computer, I will try to create a blog...

I believe all of you have just as many unfinished projects as I do. I am working on the TQS BOM, finished January and February, and before March comes out, I need to get going on other stuff. I am in the middle of a stack-n-whack quilt for QOV (Quilts of Valor) sent to wounded service men and women. I have two QOV's ready to register and mail and two more in my head! I just finished a small quilt for my guild's annual challenge. I have two more Alzheimer's Priority Quilts for Ami Simms project that are ready for finishing. I am doing my LQS block of the month. I have a Harmonic Convergence pieced but not yet quilted and fabric for 2 more. Whew, I'm tired just writing about it all!!
If you'd like to see some of the things I HAVE finished, look here:
