    Melinda Bula

In a recent AQS magazine, there was an article on Melinda Bula that stated her residence was in Paradise, California. Has anyone heard anything about her status after the horrendous fire that destroyed the city? My heart goes out to Melinda and her family as well as all the other residents who have suffered from this hellfire.

Yes, I have a friend who took her class at Houston. She did loose her home, 7 sewing machines and material. Her hubby got several, if not all the quilts, important papers, the computers, and photo albums, etc. He actually got a lot considering he had about 15 minutes. The friend said how upbeat Melinda was in the class knowing her loss. Melinda did post a blog with photos that I happened to read today.
Very sad for all the loss for everyone involved.

Melinda and her husband have been a remarkable couple considering losing their home completely. They have bought a new home in Bakersfield near their son and his family, which includes their new grand daughter. I understand they move in in about a week. It's positively inspiring to see how they have managed this crisis.
