You should get those done by Tuesday, right!

Rosemary 2 of the tops definitely have to be together by Oct 14 because I have reserved a spot to rent the longarm at one of the LQS. One top the blocks are done so that won't be so bad. The other one I'm still cutting pieces (figured out last night I was short). Nothing like a little pressure to get me moving. The LQS is have a sale on rental time (almost half off) so I am motivated to get the tops done. I figure who needs sleep this week .

I'm with Rosemary. I'd love to be able to rent time on a longarm - just to try it out.

Good luck with the 'night shifts'. Teresa!

I just watched the lessons for this quilt. Now to decide if I want to paper piece (not my favorite method but accurate) or just cut and sew the trees.

IF I make this quilt, it will paper-pieced. I'm toying with green trees, pale gold background instead of silver/gray and of course, the reds as shown in Alex's quilt. If anyone out there thinks this is not going to work for some reason, please tell me--I'm still not good with color choices!

Renata I think it would look great. Go with your instinct, those are great Christmas colors. I remember growing up the decorations on our tree every year were gold (gold lights, gold balls, gold garland, gold angel), It was pretty.

Thanks, Norma and Teresa. I kept putting together trees and glitter in my mind and that is what led me to the pale gold background...

Alex says: The pattern is the same. The pp pattern is a down load in the lessons .
