Does anyone know Sharon Schamber?

I am a member of her online quilting network BUT I can't get ahold of them. I've called and left messages, emailed the network AND email her daughter Cristy at her website but no one responds. My problem is that their webpage shows five NEW classes but they are NOT on their website for viewing. I wanted them to know. I talked to Sharon at the Long Beach show and she told me she had new classes and was surprised that they weren't up.

I thought if someone knew her personally they could tell her about her website. I can't get through to them. I think she's a genius and want to see those videos!

Issues with the web site and lack of communication seems to be the norm for the Sharon Schamber Network. Hope someone can help you.

I admire her work, though I must say the "fru-fru" designs do not appeal to me. I joined her "network", only to experience the same problems and disappointment that you describe.
I finally called it quits - you won't get your money back, you won't receive a response of ANY KIND. I believe in karma, and if I was treating people like that, I don't think I would show up at a quilt show!! But, that's just me. And there's nothing you can't learn here at TQS. It's the best.

Funny you should mention that. I have given up trying to communicate with the network. Something happened to it about a year ago and it never has been the same since. It's a shame because I learned so very much from Sharon using the network prior to that time. I finally gave up.

me too, i called them, talked with her DH, he suggested that i will send an e mail, i did, it didnt help.
everybody has the same problem (s).
i leaned as well a lot of things by sharon.
i wanted to continue my membership but it seems impossible.

Wow - so sad that a woman who makes such fantastic quilts can't get her "batting" together. I received an email flyer from PurpleDaisies - her daughter's online business - today and resent my letter to her asking is she received it.

About a year ago the site went down for an extended period of time and they gave me a six-month extension that I think is about up. . .I certainly won't be renewing my membership BUT I was hoping to see some new videos before my membership ran out. DANG :twisted:

Call me a skeptic, but with all the issues there have been in the past with her web site, I find it hard to believe that someone doesn't know that there is a huge issue with it not working right! I too have learned a LOT from Sharon's videos, but I won't be joining the network again. It's just too much money for something I'm not sure will function properly.

Me either. I hope they will get it fixed and make a big announcement about it being finally fixed. Even then, I'm not sure I would join until others find it works on a regular basis because they've said it was fixed before.

Well - I sent another email to Cristy on 11/30 saying that it has been eleven days since Cristy said she'd notify her mother of the issue and asked WTF - but in a nice way - I haven't seen anything new on the website. . .

Just joining the chorus about all the issues and problems. Nope for me too. I learned alot but Neal the son has the Network and has been a big let down. Even if he has a good reason for having the problem, there is no good reason to not communicate.

I told Cristy I was surprised that no one from the Network had contacted me and that I wouldn't be renewing my membership.

Sharon's previous classes have included a pattern - none of the new ones do.
