What to say on the label

I am in need of help on what to say on my son's and his fiance's wedding quilt label. I know to put names and dates etc. but would like to make it special. Writing is not a strong suit of mine and for the life of me, I can't think of anything to make it special. Please Help!

Pray for cooler temps this coming Saturday.

For my niece's graduation quilt, I planned early and included a scanned image of her graduation program and the Nightengale pledge (she's a nurse) on the label. Obviously, I made the label after the ceremony and just presented her with the top at the time. I waited to quilt it until the label was already applied since this was a large label and I didn't want it gapping away from the backing.

I often include pictures or some other memento on gift quilt labels. If there's a poem that's relevant or unique wedding vows or something like that, I think those are good candidates for the label. I think this is another place where you can let your creativity flow.

Julie, head to the card shop!! You can always find beautiful, pertinent prose suitable for a label!

I keep hearing about lost quilts lately, and so I've decided, in addition to the label, to write name, phone number and other information underneath it. That way, if it gets stolen, they can't take the label off and pretend it belongs to them.

I used one block that didn't make it in the quilt top to be the label.
You can write anything that you want; but I do think it is important to include your signature! Please share with us your label!
