I received my guild Round Robin back at our May meeting. I love it all but.... the appliquéd circles. Are you with me?
The circles are hand stitched on so I thought I'd just remove them. They crinkle. :?: So I took one off and it was fused on (sort of, it came right off) and then stitched. The paper was still inside. I'm so confused!!! :P Now I have fusible residue on the quilt top.
Any tips on how to remove the fusible from the quilt top?

Is it fusible, or it 505 Spray? I ask because I have used the spray when appliqueing and it will make a difference in removal.Jules~

Not all fusible web is created equal. Some is more permanent than others so whatever you do go cautiously in order to not create damage. Lots of fusibles will remove with heat but had it been Steam a Seam you could have been stuck with the circles, not just the fusible glue part. I found with Steam A Seam 2 the only fix was to "mend" over the boo boo with a new applique.Jules~
