    Drawing Panto Designs

I am looking for hints on how to draw panto designs.

    #2
What kind of hints are you looking for? Recommendations for supplies like paper? How to set up repeats? How to make them interlock? How complicated do you want it to be? You might want to check out some of the commercially available pantos to get some ideas of spacing and possible themes. There is lots available on line if you Google: Pantographs for quilting.

Here's one of my favorite sites:

Yes I am looking for information on designing, interlocking, repeating and paper recommendation. I would prefer to try my hand at designing my own pantos. Have you ever used a program like Corel Draw, Quilt Pro or Electric Quilt to design pantos? If not what do you recommend.

I've only designed small elements for myself, and have never tried a panto. Maybe some of the artists around her can pipe in????

It may be worth asking the same question in the Longarm section.
