    I seen this block on the side of a barn. Is it a block with a name? I've looked through some books but so far I haven't seen anything close.

    Debbie Pryor, You did not attach a picture. Maybe try again or draw a picture of it and take a picture of that to upload. Love quilt blocks on barns!!! HelenW

        I felt I had seen this block before and it turns out that they were similar but not an exact match. Thought I would be able to find it by googling barn quilt blocks stars.
        The closest I could get was Double Aster and Spinning Star. Sure is a great looking block. HelenW

          That does look very close, I will look it up. I appreciate your research on this. I too love the quilt blocks you see in buildings and blocks.
