    Quilt room fabric storage

I am in the process of relocating cross country, and am working to design a quilting space that will be more functional. I came across Alex Anderson's wire mesh drawer storage solution but can't find any thing just like it on line. I was wondering if anyone knows or can recommend a solution. It seems like it will really work for me, but I don't want to buy a flimsy solution (been there done that) or overdo with an industrial solution! Any insight or recommendations are appreciated!

You could try IKEA my friend has had their mesh baskets for years.
Do they sell ELFA in the USA we have them here in UK.
    Check them out on line.
Good luck let us know how you get on.

I've been using my Elfa drawers from The Container Store for many years. In the past they had them on sale every January.

I just got through setting up my storage area and I used the same Elfa shelving as Alex did, but just went with a finer mesh. I would not go with a basket larger than 2 runs high. The basket will get too heavy and bow out in the bottom from the weight of the fabric. I used 1 run high with a plastic sheet insert for my threads. I am very happy with mine. Didn't stack mine quite as nicely (folding wise) as she did, but it's still organized and easy to use.

The Container Store is where I went. Order some of it online and some at the local store. They are a big help. Also, they usually put their Elfa stuff up on sale around the beginning of the year. January or February.

        Have fun.
