Gorgeous rows, Dawn/Andree and Barb/Wendy! Those are both stunning!!! Wowsa. I'm inspired to get a little more creative with some....as I'm Jan/Feb behind thus far, I just had a good idea for my January person. Yay! Now to implement.....
Hope everyone's still having fun!I know I am!

Marilyn, Yup, inches not feet, but in my defense, it seems like feet! We do have 6 to 8 foot drifts. We haven't seen the ground since early December. To compare, we usually get 1" of snow in January. We have broken the 1955-56 snow record. I'm with you! I'm done with winter!
I did get the 2nd Color and Passion quilted. I'm sewing down the binding now. Next up to add the embellishments.
I've had to care for my mom quite a bit which has cut into my sewing time. And given all the snow it makes it harder to get to her. Oh well! Today the sun is out!
Take care, genevaGeneva

Limbania, I received a lovely row from you this week!! Thank you!! I'll get a photo up soon (probably after the weekend...) --- the youth pastor at our church asked me last night if we could possibly host the middle school boys (12 & 13 yr olds) for a retreat weekend...This Weekend!!!! Eek. Seems he had a host home cancel at the last minute.....
We said yes but means I am cleaning, planning meals for an additional 6 teenage/preteen boys (!!!), and making sure I have clean sheets to throw over all the couches for them to sleep on (last year, we failed to do that and shirtless teen boys, sleeping on couch upholstery, left a bit of an odor in the couches, LOL!). Hectic/busy the next few days but I'll chime in next week with photos and hopefully some news on sending out my January/February rows....somehow managed to fall behind, again.

Okay, snuck in time to photograph my sweet row from Limbania, and posting here before the hordes of preteen boys descend on my house this evening, LOL! (we're actually looking forward to it...with three boys of our own, from 19 to 12, what's a few more???).
I hope to have time to sew, soon. I am behind on quilts for my nieces, behind on rows, and need to start working on some projects of my own, too. Where does the time go?? I owe one niece her bday quilt, was "due" Jan 15...the next, not even started, is "due" Mar 10....and the nephew after that is Apr 21.....at least the January niece is to the stage of an "almost finished" top, then she & I will pick backing. But we've been "almost finished" for a month now......The other 2 have fabric & pattern selected, nothing else. And my Jan/Feb rows are just vague ideas....need to sit down and get those planned!
Anyway, isn't this darling? I love the fabrics you chose, Limbania! So pretty, and the extra detail stitching at the shoreline/wave line is perfect! Thank you!!

Thought I would try to get organised and pack up 4 bundles to wing their way across the pond, and the Trent, only to discover that Izzy has polished off the little extras that were supposed to be going in the parcels! Can't seal them up until a trip to the shops tomorrow morning - drat, drat and double drat!
Or as my fil put it in a Scot's accent" kids, the're nay profit t' yea!"
