Thanks for the complements. Kathy had mentioned she liked 30's repros and I love red & white, so what better to do than churn dash published in 1932 in the KC Star?

Beautiful rows! Brenda, that red row for Kathy is gorgeous!

And now I've forgotten who posted, but the flying geese are beautiful too!

I did get Brenda's mailed back out, hopefully it makes its way there safely this time. If it comes back again, I will give up and try to meet in person instead, LOL!

I posted in our Virtual Retreat, but we survived our weekend of high school boys, so thanks Geneva for the extra champagne They were actually very polite, pleasant house guests and it was a lot of fun....but still glad it's only once/year!

        Lotti,
Thank you for my row. I absolutely love batiks and lots of color. This is 'right up my alley'!

        Isn't it grand!

Oh yea, Barb! I'm excited, and will check the mailbox tomorrow and Friday! (I usually ignore it for a few days, since 90% of it is junk mail!) Thanks for the heads-up!

Wow, Lotti! You sure do have a wonderful stash of batiks! Love the randomness of Luann's row!

              Lotti/Luann - beautiful row!

I received a row from Cathy today. I love it! I love the colors, and the blocks are pieced beautifully. Cathy wrote that she draft the blocks herself because she had no pattern for 6" blocks. They are so well done! Thanks a million! What a nice way to start a quilt...

These are all so lovely! I'm glad I decided to be a part of this Not just the swap, which is amazing, but this group of ladies -- you are all becoming like good friends. Quite a pleasant sub for a local guild (none near me that meet when I could go...). Thanks, all!

Back in December, My life, at that moment, was under some outside demands of time. I'm fine, just needed to back out of so many things, and this was one of them. It was too close to the beginning of 'rowing' for me to leave the boat, so I stayed. I sent an envelope to each of you with either a pieced row, or some of my own designs that were printed by Spoonflower. A few got some of my own hand dyed cloth. I knew I had to take as much of the pressure items off my list. I realize that the only pressure was from myself, but none the less, it was there. The fabrics that weren't sewn into a row are meant for you to utilize any way you desire. I want to know if you did NOT get your envelope. I tried to read back thru the posts but I figure it'll be quicker if you just send me an email if you aren't in possession of an envelope from me, please! Times change for all of us, and I certainly don't want anyone to be left out. ALSO, if you decide to give yourself a break on the month my name comes up on your list, send me a piece of cloth. That way, I'm giving you a little mental health break too.
I sincerely have enjoyed getting to know everyone, including those that are cheering us from the shore! I'll be more of a lurker for the next few months, but watch for those 'thank yous' as I'll be useing them to let you know that I agree, or give you a thumbs-up. Sure wish they had a 'thank you' button on Facebook, and a 'like' one on here. Oh, I just want the world to do things my way,,, LOL
All the best to the 'crew', and please do let me know if your envelope has not arrived.

Finally got to the post office. Had been holing to get there last week but my email was playing silly buggers with me and I couldn't access the addresses. Your row should be arriving in about 7-10 days Geneva.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Barb! The row arrived today! Barb said the block is from an antique quilt called Snowbound. It is a Mountain Mist pattern from 1934. Cool, huh?

Cathy/Andreè.....what a fun and colorful row of blocks!

Limbania.......did you receive your row from me yet? I mailed it a week ago, but haven't seen it here yet, so was just wondering.

Gotta go add my snowflakes to my trees and snowmen! Such fun!
