Brenda, I did mail your row on time, but it came back to my -- seems I had your zip code wrong. I've emailed you, so please make sure I have it correct now and I'll send it out againI'm not sure how I copied it down wrong, but luckily it came back to me rather than get lost in the system.

...and, I got a lovely row from Jennifer/Jen! It is much prettier in person than my photo shows, as the lighting would not cooperate with me, so washes out some of the fabrics (and laid on the arm of the couch as it is, looks much "wavier" than it actually is; it does lay flat in real life, no worries!)
Isn't it gorgeous?!
Next up I've got to resend Brenda's row (miscopied her address) and work on February -- a "flavor of you" month for me, so that will be fun! I need to do some sleuthing to pick a color scheme for the recipient....

OK, here are a couple more pictures, my fabric from Terrie and my pieced row from jdeluka. I love it all :woohoo: Heather, I sent you an e-mail reply. To save you some postage we ought to meet at a quilt shop half way between our homes! Wait, that could end up costing more than the postage

Great waves ladies! I have not seen that before, but evidently a lot of you have. Guess I won't be doing anything similar. I'll have to put on my thinking cap for those of you with beachy, sandy themes.
Limbania, I did not get your row into the mail on Monday as planned. I was going to go to town for charity sew day, but am still not quite over my cold, so thought I should stay home. I'll let you know when it actually gets mailed.

Please: do we have the correct address for Brenda in our EXCEL file? Please confirm if it was copied wrong or if we need to change our file.

Brenda, I thought about asking you if you'd like to meet, and then thought that might seem odd. Definitely something I'm open to, though! I'll have to see what's halfway between us......(also, I am chuckling that Terrie and Jen *both* sent us identical items, so thus far, our quilts will be quite the same! How fun!!
Dawn, Rosemary, I can't speak for others, but I'm entirely open to if I get repeats (or not). Do whatever you are comfortable with, please! Even if you pick the same block idea as someone else, it's quite unlikely to be just exactly the same.

Glad the rows arrived safely and you are both happy with them :-). I was going to do them in different colors, but realized I really liked how the blues flowed together and couldn't find anything else in my stash that transitioned as well :silly: It was a twisted log cabin pattern - one I've been wanting to try for awhile and finally had a small enough project to give it a shot!
Still eagerly watching the mail for my January row - not sure how long post usually takes from the UK (I'm assuming about 2 weeks based on what my friend has sent me from various locations abroad in the past) but I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!

Owing some pictures on this thread:-
First up is my fabric from Luann - gorgeous, but I sure cannot cut it up.
Next, my fabrics from Terrie and a wonderful card.
Finally, some fabrics and a doorstopper from Rosemarie - she is still with us, just life is hectic and she hasn't been able to check in and keep up with us recently.
These bright zig-zags I would not necessarily have chosen to buy for myself, but you know what, I am really glad to have them, as they will push me to explore. That is what is so fun about exchanging rows/fabrics.

Ah, yes, you are probably right, Andrèe! I forget that the U.S. writes the date differently than the rest of the world. And Lois, drives on the opposite side of the road! And, uses inches, feet, and yards. How did all of this happen? Whose responsible for it? We ARE different, aren't we!!!!
