Just returned home with Loren in tow. He is still coughing and having difficulty breathing and the antibiotic they sent him home with cost $100/7 pills. Hope he doesn't have to have it refilled. Oh well, maybe I can convince him to rest. Thank you for your friendship ladies. It is more special than I can communicate.

Ritzy,
Make sure you take care of YOU also!
Glad to hear the hubby is well enough to come home.
Sad to hear about your pet.
May God continue your husbands healing and give you the extra stamina you need at this time.
What kind of chocolate should we send you? I think it's a fact somewhere, that given enough coffee and chocolate one single woman could rule the world! I'd give it a go,,, ah, maybe not! Ruling the world probably wouldn't allow for much sewing time. I guess I'll pass.
I had such high hopes to get at some of the backgrounds for the Rowers this afternoon. But, I came home from our little group of 8 friends, with 5 quilts to do my magic on. And an appointment to meet another sewer to pick up 3 more on Friday or Saturday! This is beginning to turn into a little business after all,,, yeah!
It's 8pm by me and if I do anything more tonight, it's going to entail my tail sitting in a rocking chair!
Love to everyone,
Luann

$100 for 7 pills  ouch! That sure makes me far more appreciative of our NHS, for all the fact we complain about it.Originally posted by "ritzy" post=133965Just returned home with Loren in tow. Hope Loren 'behaves' himself in convalescence, all the best to you both.

I have been off the computer for a few days and it seems like so much has been going on. Ritzy, I am glad Loren is home now. Hopefully he will follow the doctors orders and get well soon. It was so sad about your dog. Someone with a pet does not realize how attached we become to them. They are a friend who is always there for us.
Terrie, hope your son starts feeling better soon. For your son's sake, I hope his father adjusts to the new kidney. I hate to think your son's gift was in vain.
Sending hugs to all of you.
