Eli's creature? I am guessing muskrat. Webed feet means he swims. And those fingers look like they are good for something. I bet he quilts too.

Hello Ladies, he is a Coypu (yes, a Type of River Rat).
Apparently a relation of the beaver family, but isn't he just sweet?

This isn't quilting but it's been so long since I got any sewing done, and our blogs have not returned YET (soon I hope) so I wanted to share my project with you. I hope you don't mind a ton of pictures because I'm so excited to have finished something. I made a card table playhouse for our granddaughter's first birthday last year and started planning one for our grandson who is a year younger. Well only 4 months late it's done. I wanted his to look more like a treehouse/fort with leaves hanging down instead of shingles like hers had following the pattern. That's our little wild guy swinging from a vine at the front door.

                        Karen,
I think you should bring this to the next real retreat and let everyone have a moment to 'get away from the world' inside it. I bet your little ones love playing in them.
                        Thanks for sharing

Yup. My perfect retreat location should definitely also contain one of thise.

How cute! I just had to giggle seeing him standing erect inside. That won't last long. Good thing you got it done sooner rather than later. It's just too cute and so is he. Thanks for sharing.

PS. I really miss the blogs too. Perhaps we should all ask about it. You know the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Perhaps we all need to squeak more persistently.
