    Portable sewing table

Does anyone have any recommendations for a portable sewing table for a Bernina 440?

    #2
I tried out this table: http://seweziusa.com/ at a show and was very impressed. I didn't think it would be sturdy enough and that it would move when going full speed but it stood its ground. I would really love one for my Bernina 730 to bring with me when I go to my girls for sewing retreats. It's on my wishlist

I sew with a 440 also and have a SewEzi table...it is a great table! It is so sturdy and steady! I use it as my sew at home table and it is so easy to travel with, I take it to classes. I believe it is only available on their web site so you can't really shop the price. However, they vend at many of the major shows and often offer free shipping as a show special...if you are attending a big show in the future, wait and buy it then. (Mine was my treat to myself from the Houston show. )

I love my SewEzi table too. I used it at home for my second machine and I take it in the RV when we travel and to retreats, etc.

I also have a Sewezi table that works when I want to take my 640 somewhere to sew, and it's very sturdy. I take it when we travel with our RV to use with my Jem Gold, too. Have three inserts, one for each machine I use with it. It's well worth the investment

SewEzi gets my vote as well! I have one for my Featherweight. Great product!
They now have a larger table.

I also own a Sewezi table. I bought it to use with my Bernina 450. Last year I sold my 450 and bought the new Bernina 750. I was worried about the weight of the new machine and called Barbara at Sewezi. She sold me the new brace that they made for the regular table and it made my table so sturdy and the table doesn't move at all even if sewing at full speed. I didn't have room for the larger table and am happy she didn't try to sell me the bigger table when the one I already owned works perfectly now with the additional brace.

I love my Sewezi table. It holds my 440 and is very study, and I can also take it to classes.

I have one too. Use it at home and for classes. Most times it holds my Janome 6600. Works great.
