Here's a Face I made after taking a class. I never imagined I had such creativity!
I used glass beads as raindrops!

This is my first Face Quilt that I made after taking a class. It was so much fun, and I discovered creativity I didn't know I had!
The raindrops (hard to see in the

pic) are glass beads that I sewed in.

Good morning, I had to stay in a bit of control on this face, maybe next one I will be able to express more..I have fabric picked for the hair and that’s next. I am really enjoying this!

I loved doing this project. The fabric with words says things like - there is no place like home, home sweet home - family is important to me. I do love to sew and the little heart under the words is a piece of fabric from my grandmother who also sewed. I love to bake so there is a cupcake and I put a small cross next to my face because my faith is significant to me. I have done one other collage type quilt so I pulled from stash of fabric that had adhesive but I have never done anything like this. Thank you for the invitation to step outside the box-what FUN!

I’ve caught up with this class and have just finished with the basics for my face. I’m enjoying doing this in small bites—makes it less intimidating.

They aren't there. I just looked at what Alex showed on screen and created my own head and ears.

I wasn't going to do this, oh, no, too much I have to work on without another project, No, not me, not now...

Thinking I will change the mouth to brighter and lighter. This is the second nose, probably going to replace this too.

See, my photos sometimes go in sideways too--no idea why or how to fix. I have tried several times so, oh, well...
