I have decided to put my blocks on point and to keep the Brassica fabric intact as a whole square as I love it! On the triangles around the blocks I have decided to use some pastel Batik from my stash, trying to pick up the colors from the Brassica. Then I will construct a small border using the left over solids; still working on that design and will post it when the sewing of the blocks is complete. I loved working with the Brassica colors and the color wheel! It has taught me a lot about color. I am new to sewing these types of blocks and it has forced me to really be careful in my cutting and sewing. Thank you! All skills that I need to work on.

Not sure what my final layout will be, but it is lots of fun playing with different options.

Sorry if this comes up multiple times but still struggling to load pictures!
My blocks so far, I was thinking a strippy quilt but want to try the blocks on the diagonal first. Just had a horrendous storm so staying downstairs just now. Let’s try again

I always line up by color according to color wheel (YORPBG) with tertiaries and pastels (pink, lavender, aqua) in between before mixing them in the quilt. My next step is to mix the blocks with the Kaffe print corners.). THEN stand back and look through your camera lens. Which color jumps out to you?

Having problem loading my photos but I’ll try again.

So many options for layout. I don’t know which one is speaking to me.
