Alex is moving further along in her breast cancer journey. So much to consider, surgery, reconstruction, chemo, and radiation, Alex talks about how she has progressed. She discusses her health to encourage women to get tested early and to let them know there are options for everyone.
"First off I have been feeling everyone's love and concern - I mean REALLY feeling it. I am blessed beyond measure. As for the nuts and bolts, the difference a week makes is indescribable. YAY! Next week I will be meeting with my oncologist to find out what is next. I am not stressed at all because it is out of my body. One step at a time as the story continues."

"My special guest is Alex Anderson! Laughter is plentiful in this in-depth interview with the one and only Sweetheart of Quilting. OK yes, there are many sweethearts in quilting, but Alex has risen to the top for decades with her caring, happy demeanour and this interview "simply" makes my heart sing. That's an old school pun on her first show." - Quilter on Fire
