A Thank You from Alex and a Story

"First off I have been feeling everyone's  love and concern - I mean REALLY feeling it. I am blessed beyond measure. As for the nuts and bolts, the difference a week makes is indescribable.  YAY! Next week I will be meeting with my oncologist to find out what is next. I am not stressed at all because it is out of my body. One step at a time as the story continues."

And speaking of stories, here's one from Alex about Sally Johnson and the inifinity scarves.

Sally was going to make a Alex a quilt, but when it was suggested that she make infinity scarves (they keep chemo patients warm) instead for donation to a cancer center, she took that suggestion to heart and has already donated close to 50, making them with a group of friends. She has donated the scarves to those in need in the Boston Area.

If you'd like to make an Infinity Scarf or Mastectomy Pillow (Alex is using the pillows below in her T-Rex pose, she has to keep her arms by her side.), they are available in The Quilt Show store.

♥︎ A percentage of the sales of the Infinity Scarf Cuddle® Kits will be donated to the Dr. Susan Love Foundation For Breast Cancer Research.

♥︎ 100% of the purchase price of the first 150 Mastectomy Pillow Cuddle® Kits will support Breast Cancer Research.

And again, Alex thanks you for all the love and support.
