    What a great idea, Marilyn!

Lois, I noticed that you made 8 blocks with the quarter squares, what if you just took away the ones with pale pink? Their contrast isn't as strong as the other blocks. And, I agree that it would be good to add that print somewhere else? Good job. I'm also learning about colours. I think it's a big topic!

Lois I agree with Marilyn, I think a dark sashing will bring it all together. Either a darker green or a dark purple. I think you will be surprised at how good this quilt looks when you are finished it.

          I like them Lois

Some of the flowery one in the border will finish it off great.

Lois, don't ask me why but I love your blocks, really

You've got great advice but, here are my 2 cents while looking at the picture, seems to me that you need a light fabric. On the picture, your fabrics read to me as medium and dark values only. The ligh pink on the floral fabric is the only light I see in the blocks. Perhaps an off white, light cream or ivory, maybe even an extra light pink (kind of like a blushing white- hope this makes sense) for the sashing might work! and use the floral for a border either a narrow or wide border depending how much fabric you still have. Of course the best thing to do is audition and find the fabric that will help all the blocks to "play nice together"

In the end, I'm sure you'll love your quilt but, if you don't, Nancy and I will have to throw a coin to see who keeps it  ops:

Slowly, but surely. Here are the pinwheels done. 8 blocks. They spin in different direction, half to the right, half to the left.

Better go work on the next blocks if I ever want to caught up. ops:

I agree with Limbania - so, I think maybe the light pink and the light green are too similar in value. However, the more I look at the quilt, the more I like it, and it's not over yet! I think in the end, you will make the right choices. Heaven knows when you ask for advice on the forum, you get plenty! Go with your gut/heart/.

Lois, if the colors I am seeing are true--I think the quilt will be wonderful when you get it done.
