Hi everyone! I have been lurking around once in a while. Terry, I love your blog about the Bernina feet. I really want the 46C foot to do some embroidered pinstripe fronts for some new work shirts. I haven't gotten a blog written yet for this week. I'm currently working on my son Ken's ancient manuscript design, and I'm holding off blogging about that until it is completed, and perhaps debuted. So it's hard to figure out what to talk about. LOL...anyway, I'm still here. Hugs all around.

      Hi Geneva,

Take your time in making your souvenirs. The next one will post on Friday and it is a fun, fast one.

Terry, loved the pics of your little ladies. They are so sweet and you three have the best adventures.

                Hi all -

I've started a new wallhanging for my nephew for Christmas and talk about my progress here. It's based on a Karen K Stone iQuilt class and I think it's pretty cool. Stop by if interested!

This week, we took the grands to an art gallery and I blogged about it here:
                    http://terryknott.blogspot.com/2016/10/visiting-art-gallery.html

This morning, I steamed one edge of the binding on "42 Minis." Tonight, I'll steam the opposite edge. I don't have a large enough space to do the whole thing at once! Tomorrow, it hangs! (I'll blog about the finish on Sunday!)

                      Hi all y'all,
It's been a while since I posted, and I'm way behind in my blog reading, but I will catch up now that the weather seems to finally have moved on to fall. Somehow I seemed so busy and I got behind in everything...blog reading, blog writing, cleaning...but I am back in the groove now, and hopefully am going to catch up with everything, but it will take me a while I'm sure. Anyway, I wrote a blog I want to share with you. it's the beginning of a series: Part1: Quilting for Domestic Machine Artists...Rulers I hope the link works. There is something mysterious about the linking in this forum that I don't seem to have elsewhere. So let me know if it doesn't. I'll go read your blogs now. Hugs.

I finished my "42 Minis" AND it hung in the Featured Artist Show this past weekend.

I have an updated blog post that shows the Oregon souvenir from one of my world travelers. I also discuss how difficult it is to translate an idea in your head onto fabric. Art doesn't always cooperate. I threw in the towel on this piece and will start over and try again.

Geneva, thanks for reading my blog. It was GREAT to see that huge quilt hanging at the Featured Artist Show.
JoJo, you just discovered what didn't work. Maybe the next foray will be what will work!

I finished a little project. It is 15" x 10". The photo is the background that was my start!
