    free motion ideas

    Hi all,
I'm always looking for new techniques and ideas with free motion. Do you have a favorite website that demonstrates free motion techniques? I've signed up for 3 days of classes at the Phoenix AQS show in February, so I'm really excited to get some live training...LOL
I love my gammill and love doing custom free motion but always looking to learn more...

This has been my favourite http://sewcalgal.blogspot.co.uk/p/fr...challenge.html.
In particular all last years challenges which have links to tutorials by different quilters and lots of videos

Have fun Barb with all the patterns. It's general not just long arm so perhaps not specific enough :?

There is also Cindy Needham's class on Craftsy which is very good, but you would have to pay for it. And I presume you know about Leah Day already?

A Google search for people like Judy Madsen and Kim Stotsenberg and Lisa Calle will give you some great free demos for long arm work,

          Thanks everyone.
I've taken most of the craftsy classes which are good. I haven't tried the link provided so I'll be sure and check that out.
I've also viewed most of the demos mentioned. So I guess I'm hitting most of the education tools out there.
I love quilting and just thought there might be more learning available that I hadn't already found.
          Thanks for your help..
          Happy quilting everyone!
          Barb

and the list goes on and on.

Every professional quilter seems to have a blog. Once you get to one, many have a side-bar list of quilters THEY follow. Some are better than others about updating the blogs, but their old information is awesome.

Our own TQS Classroom includes lessons by Patsy Thompson and Linda Taylor, among others.

Search YouTube. You'll never get away from your computer
