    coloring pencils

Some time ago someone suggested a fabric marking pencil that one could use as a drawing tool that you could use to vary the color darkness like an ordinary colored pencil. I am looking for that info again. Thanks, Jan

If you are talking about shading applique, I recently used Derwent Inktense colored pencils. Use the pencil, then use a little water to make it more translucent ink like effect. Once it is dry, it is permanent. I also heat set it to make sure it wouldn't run or disappear. Some of the other pencils by Derwent need a Textile Medium to seal the color. You can find the pencils in any craft store like Michaels and AC Moore near the drawing and painting area.

You can also go to the top by Log Off and search colored pencils. I should give you other times people have discussed this.

No, that would be Margo. The timing was just right with what I had been working on. Have fun coloring.
