Lorchen, did you put some sleep thing on the thread you sent to Keith? I wonder what he is doing. Maybe thinking about accepting your offer and afraid it would attach to him instead?

.........Norma, maybe I did not shout loud enough. Or we may have to pick up those bowling balls and toss them in his direction.

Way to go, Lorchen! I might take one of those balls - none of mine are as pretty!
I'm in my eighth hour of a road trip with Dwight and two other guys (I brought 7 balls with me). Five hours to go.
Dwight says congrats too! He's got 3 more pounds to his target.
I'll play with your lighter weight thread soon - I promise.
            WOO-HOO Lorchen!

Only quilters would not misunderstand 'playing with your threads'.

Go and get them, Tiger!! We should try and organize a cheerleader squad for you and Dwight, Keith! I can see it now: Skimpy crazy patchwork outfits, designed and sewn by Rosemary, embellished with lots of Razzle Dazzle, Margo doing the choreography, .............

And before anybody make a cheeky comment...... I have only had one little single malt, and now I'm off to bed!

We made it - we had a good practice squad - thin Dwight bowls good - doubles qualifying is tomorrow - this one's a PBA event, a step up from the tourney I won last weekend - we can hear your cheering - Dwight thinks we should bowl in capes - does anybody know how to make fashion capes for bowlers?

Capes are easy to make, Keith, but they use a lot of fabric. I'm sure we'd all love to see you and Dwight competing wearing some really jazzy quilted capes!

Ritzy, that picture was taken by my son when Faye was 4 hours old. I had just been told that Faye's middle name is 'Hannelore'. I didn't know at the time if I should smile or cry.
