Happy Mother's Day to All!!
Good morning, everyone. And Happy Mother's Day! Whether you are a mother biologically or not, if you love and care for someone or something, here's my salute to your "mothering" instinct!
I went to see my Mom yesterday because she will be gone today. My MIL was aat a wedding but DD#3 and I left flowers and a card at her house for her. I went to church yesterday so today is ALL MINE! I am sewing together the rows for DD's graduation quilt - the bargello one. I have found it's easier to just take to the time to pin each and every seam intersection - it saves trouble while sewing. There are 33 intersecting seams!
I also used the excuse last evening that since I ran out of bobbin while sewing hers, it was okay to switch thread colors and sew the quilt I have cut for a summer themed quilt for my bed. Good thinking, huh?
Today I want to plant a few perrenials (sp?) I bought to replace some that didn't make it over the winter, do lots of sewing and maybe a little golfing. Will have to throw some laundry in, too, since I bummed around yesterday and didn't get it all done. I have wet jeans hanging outside already. DD #2 is on her way home from college for the summer but leaves on Tuesday for three weeks of study abroad in Austria. Will have to do her necessary laundry today and tomorrow. The rest can wait.
Have a great day everyone! (If anyone even has a chance to check in and read this today!)

Happy Mother's Day!!!! dd2 said she'd make breakfast, but I don't think I'll hold my breath! My breakfast time is much earlier than hers and she's got good intentions. My mom is on the road with my brother to bring his son home for the summer from college - 9 hours each way and dmil is away too. dh will call and leave her a message anyway and I'll call my mom's cell. As for me, I HOPE it stays nice enough to finally get the flowerbeds cleaned out so when I buy my plants next weekend I can plant them. I'm going to wash up some fabric, work on my BOM block and dd1/dsil's wedding quilt. I picked up a couple more fq's yesterday to put in that.
Hugs,
Darce

Happy Mother's Day all,
We celebrated it yesterday so today I gave my mom the day for what she likes to do. Puzzels and crocheting. So I got the house redd-up from being away Friday & Saturday. I got 44 spring bulbs planted this afternoon and got dinner going. We invited a friend over for Mother's day dinner. Hope everyone has a good day!
