Boy it's windy here - spitting snow again too - bleh! Yesterday when I left Des Moines it was 58 - I want that ! dd2 is home on spring break this week, so we popped down to visit my folks - drove down Thurs & came back yesterday. Too short, but it was great to hang out with my folks, then we stopped at my sister's for lunch and a visit on the way home. Got my Rowan fix - I just don't get to see that little girl nearly enough - being almost 4 hours away sucks. Today is laundry catch up, visit and elderly friend and maybe some sewing. I'm finally getting into a good frame of mind to quilt these 2 UFO's I've got layered. Tomorrow I take dd back to college - 3 hours away. We'll stop and pick her up some groceries on the way and we get to pick up both of her bridesmaid dresses too - Yay!!!
Been watching all the coverage of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan - it's all so awful. prayers, prayers and more prayers to all those affected.
