Darce, loved the bright quilt with the animal borders... adorable! Too cute about finding the wallhanging saying too!

Agnes, great idea about a gift bin. It would remove the anxiety of a deadline for gifting. I hate deadlines. ops:

Just finished this on Saturday, and will give it go a lovely elderly lady in my congregation this week. It's about 50 x 70 inches. Next is to see if I can finish my 2009 Thimbleberries quilt (queen-sized.) The top is nearly done but for borders, so I have that plus sandwiching, etc. I still haven't worked out a backing, so we'll see. Anyway:

April, I'll try again I lost the last reply. You can talk about my "baby" anytime. LOL He is definitely the bright spot in my life nowadays. Although he has grown and has caused me to fall out of bed because he wouldn't move so I could get up. I have to get rid of my twin bed and go to full size really soon. He is right around a year old now and weighs about 20 lbs. A bit bigger than the avitar I have. Here is an updated pic. Not real good because I took it with my phone but it does show his out of control hair on his head. It actually gets worse and stands straight up and he really looks like a gremlin.

Yes, this is my first one, I didn't even know the breed existed before this, but I don't think I'll ever own another kind of dog again. Actually I'm definitely a little protective and if anyone even looks at him sideways my hair stands up. (So I have to admit he does get away with too much.) He is the most lovable and fun dog I have ever owned. I love it when I talk to him and he acts as if he understands every word I said and he even changes his expressions. If I was retired I would probably try to add at least one more, maybe a little girl. (Of course it helps that his uncle is a vet so I'm covered in that area.)

Loving the quilts and the puppy! He is so adorable and soft looking. He does look like he can give you some 'expressions'. I do think he needs a little girlfriend.

This runner is finally done. I hand pieced, machine quilted, bound it and then added the applique by hand, in that order. The hexes pile is wearing down but there are more items yet to come. All this because a design or mind change or two while I was piecing.

And here is an up close shot.

This one actually made me applaud out loud, both hands.....can you hear me? This so pretty and nicely machine FM too. I am one who follows each pattern closely without an original thought in my head regarding the design. I wish my brain worked like yours! Nicely done, Agnes.
