It's Thursday Already!
Hi all,
Didn't see a thread started for the last couple of days so thought I'd start one for today. I haven't been able to motivate myself to get anything quilt related done for about a week now. Gave myself a kick in the tush last night and worked on some fly geese for my impossible bom. I did wash my sewing room floor so I can baste 2 quilts and hopefully get them going sooner rather than latter. DM and I need to head to Madison to visit my DF and run a few errands. Hope everyone has a beautiful day!
Happy Stitching,

I have been trying desperately to get my house cleaned or at least tidied because tomorrow my DS has surgery and I don't want to think about it all weekend. I have been crabby and I know it is because I haven't been working out. I need to get back in the habit as it will be a lot more helpful. HOpefully next week I will get a kick in the butt and get going on that. I also need to get in my sewing room. That's why I am hoping a cleaned and tidied house will help me with all of that.
marg hope you guild went good the other day and I hope your visits go well.

Stacey--All the best to hubby and you during and after the surgery.
I quilted another table runner in the morning yesterday and got the binding, first side, sewn on by machine late last night. This morning I have to run to the church and pick up some files and supplies to work have done by Sunday. Following the church run I head to Michaels to get some yarn. I need to make slipper socks for hubby and besides dish cloths were getting rather boring. Between the binding and the new knitting I will be good for a few days without having to quilt something again. Soon though I will have to get at the wall hangings and lap quilts. I have to fit in making a fitted sheet. For that I have to change the feed dogs, etc on the machine. While I have the zig-zag equipment set up I need to satin stitch the tulip block that has been staring at me for over a year. That then leads to another wall hanging. Of course, daily I am also spending about 9 hours getting to and in the hospital with Vern. One thing, for sure, the house isn't getting dirty.

I've got to stow the machine quickly. DD called last night and has decided to come visit us -- and come a day early so I've got to get amove on and get my house ready for company. I got a lot done yesterday - finished quilting my challenge wh for my guild meeting on Monday -- I do have to put on the binding, but it's only about 18 inches square, so that shouldn't be a problem. DD and hubby and kids arrive tonight and will probably leave Saturday night so I've got Sunday to get my binding on and label, etc. I also finished a block for my block exchange. Hope you all have a good day and rest of the weekend.

I did some applique on my Baltimore Album quilt which STILL is not done but got set aside for a donation quilt that I am doing the applique portion of. Problem is I am waiting for more green thread to arrive. Hopefully today? Then I can finish the donation quilt and get back to the Baltimore. They are calling for snow tonight and tomorrow.
Not looking forward to driving in it again tomorrow. Oh well, not much I can do about it.
