Super Bowl Sunday
I will be cheeringn on the Packers and hopefully doing some other fun stuff. As for the rest of the day we will see. I am hoping to make some chicken wings. My DS's birthday party went great, but now I am still cleaning and straightening up from that.
Have a great day everyone.
Hugs,
STacey

I am also a Packer backer and am very excited for the game to start! I recently finished quilting a turning 20 flannel quilt. It was from a FQ swap on QYW MB that Jeanne started a couple of years ago. I just now finished putting the binding on... I don't know if I'll get atarted on hand sewing it down today...but I'm happy to be so clse to finishing another quilt. I love putting the binding on! Anne

I don't "do" football, and will spend the day/evening in my sewing room. But....y'all need to be on the lookout for the Volkswagon commercial! It is too stinkin' cute!!

I was out of town with my husband's family, all loyal Steelers fans, during the game. They were, of course, on the edges of their seats, only to be disappointed at the end. But they agreed that the Packers are a good and likable team who deserved the win. The commercial we liked the best was the one with the beaver who remembered a good deed. That one was really sweet.
I was working on the binding of wall quilt which was supposed to be a Christmas present for my sis-in-law THREE years ago.ops: And I still had to take it home 'cause I didn't finish. *Sigh* Still have to tack down the hanging sleeve and make and attach a label.
Love,
Heidi

LOL, we liked the beaver commercial best too! I love your Snow Flurries quilt. I've never tried paper piecing, but someone gave me a Carol Doak book as a gift.....I'll have to dig it out and maybe reconsider. Nice job! Your DSIL will love it too.

Beautiful Heidi! I watched parts of the game and did see the beaver commercial. I thought it was really cute - thanks for the link to the Volkswagon one too Margo - that one's really cute too. I putzed at sewing and reading - didn't accomplish much of either. Gotta get some projects finished up so I can start on ds/ddil2b's quilt - I'm really excited about that one!
