I want to say welcome to all the new members. This is a great forum and people are very helpful. Scoopie already told a lot of the topics, but I want to add that it's easier to find you way in this when you click on View New Topics. The computer keeps track on what you have seen.

            Hi All,
My screen name is ShirleyAnn. I've been married 47 years, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, no pets. I have been quilting for about 17 years now.....retired and hoping to spend more time in "therapy". I have a UFO list that I must get posted and seriously start to whittle down. It is sad to see QYW MB close but I'm sure this new adventure will be great!!!! Shirley Ann

Hi everyone -- thanks for your welcomes. My screen name is pegsterct -- I started as pegsterTX on the AAQ site -- then moved to Connecticut so I'm now pegsterct (duh!) I've enjoyed chatting with my QYW buddies for several years and I look forward to making new friends and enjoying the "old" ones on this site. I'm a retired school para, married 40 years to the same crazy man, Mom to 4, Grammy to 4. I was lucky enought to move to Houston (from LI, NY) in 1996 and caught the quiltbug at the Houston Quilt Festival. I still have the first pattern I bought there -- and I never even started it (huge applique landscape) - but I have completed many others. And have lots of UFOs so I'm a true quilter I love piecing -- I'm a Bonnie Hunter fan currently working on her latest mystery quilt. Just got back from my guild meeting and realized we were "moving" to TQS. A new journey!

                      Hi everyone!
I too was on the Quilts Your Way forum. I was debidobs on that board.

I can tell you the folks on the QYW forum are AWESOME... I have done many swaps with them before I entered nursing school. Now that's done and I'm ready to get all those wonderful blocks quilted! I'm looking forward to "meeting' lots of new quilters and getting to know again the ladies from QYW.

                      happy quilting!
