    TQS members quilts at Paducah

It's just about 10 days til AQS/Paducah, and I wanted to know whose quilts to look for at the show. Sign in, please!

I'll have my quilt, Charm School there. It's entered in the wallhanging, home machine quilted category. Don't know if I will get to be there or not, but I hope so!

Also, I forgot to mention earlier that my Centennial Quilt will be hanging in the group category.

Well, I was surprised that not many TQS members had entered a quilt in Paducah, so I glanced at the semi-finalist list on the AQS website, and there were several familiar names. Pat Durbin, Carol Moellers, Robin Gausbeck, Dana Lynch, Karen Grover, and some guy named Ricky Tims ALL have quilts entered in Paducah! There may be more, but those were the names I recognized. Are there others out there we don't know about??

When do they announce the category ribbon winners? And where do they post it on the web?

Janet, thanks for the info! I had no idea that they posted a semi-finalist list until you mentioned it. Lots of super quilters on that list, including one of my favorites, Sue Garman.

The awards presentation is from 5:30-7:00 pm on Tuesday, so I assume that the list of winners would be posted on the Internet soon after.

ARGHH! I forgot Sue Garman! She's one of my favorite quilters too!

Beverly, the results are posted on the AQS website either late Tuesday or on Wednesday.

A member of our guild, Brian Dykehousen (I may have spelled that wrong) has two black and white quilts in the show. TQS's The Quilt Life featured him along with some other male quilters, about two years ago.
