Mancuso World Quilt show New England

This show was really good. The quilts from all over the world that won best of country were amazing. My impression is that the art quilts, often using hand dyed fabric were the most impressive. There were so many landscapes that were beautiful. Several of the best quilts were pictures of people or animals that were colorwashed or pixelated into tiny pieces of fabric of all colors. I only had my phone to take pictures but if my camera worked I was going to make a slide show. Next year I'll be prepared hopefully.
If I can upload any OK pics from my phone I will. This one is a stained glass reverse appliqued.

Wow so skillful all of them but the last one is my favourite.

The colors of al the quilts were so wonderful. So many of them were really colorful. When I have time I'll try to post some of the other colorful ones I tried to get pics of. Glad you like them, Wendy.

Thank you very much for sharing these pictures. I love to see what shows have to offer that I can't get to.

Where in New England did this take place? If somebody could provide me with a rich husband or a good job I could easily see myself living in Vermont or Maine.

I would visit you then, Lorchen. This show was in Manchester, New Hampshire. It happens every August if you find a rich husband or new job this year. Do you have any nice shows in your neck of the woods?

thank you Limbania. Wish I had my camera working to take better and more photos. If my husband was rich and or I found a new job, I would be going to more quilt shows too. To me they're better than art museums.
