Wow! Only a month until Houston. I'm getting excited! (or will be as soon as I finish my big work deadline :? ). Have any of you ever served as a quilt angel at Houston? I did when I went in 2010. I had the very tough duty  of standing in front of Nancy Kern's gorgeous awarding-winning Baltimore Album quilt so I could show people the back of the quilt. People kept asking if it was my quilt. Don't I wish!!! Last week, I received a message from the Festival people looking for more quilt angels for this year. So if you're interested, check it out. If you work for 3 hours, you get a cute angel pin, and if you work 6 hours (doesn't have to be all at the same time), you also get priority enrollment for classes for next year. If you're interested, email me and I'll forward the message, or email mailto:[email protected]. They also have some paid positions this year. Again, I can forward the message to you, or you can send an email to mailto:[email protected] and put IQF/Houston in the subject line. See you soon!
