AQS Lancaster Show has just posted its winners for 2012--while I am not familiar with all the names (their quilts are beautiful), Sherry Reynolds did receive the Best Machine Workmanship Award for "America, Let it Shine!" Sherry-- Congratulations! Think you should adopt Brittany Spears' "Oops I did it again" as your theme song~ at least the title anyway!! I saw your quilt in person last year and was mesmerized.

If one leaves Disneyland at 5a.m., flies for 5 1/2 hrs with a "happy" baby sitting behind, has 4 hour layover in Baltimore, gets to Lancaster at 9:30 p.m. exhausted, then, yep, it was a magic carpet, lol. Thanks so much Rita!!! sherry

Oh yes, been there too! Isn't it amazing how the 'mothering' instinct quickly turns into the 'smothering' instinct when confronted with somebody elses screaming hoard! But look on the bright side, you don't have to cook or clean as long as you are there. We have to be thankful for small mercies :lol:

I have just returned from Lancaster, had the wonderful chance to sit and chat with Sherry. She has not stopped flying yet, can't blame her. Her quilt is absolutely beautiful, words really cannot describe my seeing the quilt with Sherry next to it. Sherry, again congratulations, it's beautiful, Best, Pat
