Going to Paducah in April 2011?

I've made my plane res. and have an application in for Bed/Breakfast home. Hope to hear soon.
    Anyone else planning to go?

Yes, I am going. It is a 2 hour drive for me, so definitely going. I have reservations at a motel about 45-60 minutes away from there in Marion, Illinois. I just never get to it quick enough to get a local room. I am taking two of my DGDs who love quilts too. Hopefully my SIL will be home so my DD can join us.

Great! - maybe I'll see you there.
Next year check with the visitor's bureau - they have a bed and breakfast thing worked out with local folks who invite you into their homes. I've done that several years and it's worked out fine for me.

I thought about that, but since I promised the girls (age 14 and 12), I thought it would be better to have a motel room. I do have a neice who lives in Paducah. If it was only me I'd ask for her couch. They do not have an extra bedroom, but I'm not picky.

I've got my hotel reservations and my registration is completed. A girlfriend and I will be driving down there together. One of my sisters is planning to meet me there.

I hope to see all of you in Paducah at some time during the show. My miniature quilt got in and I'm so excited. Can't wait to see all the wonderful quilts this year.

Congrats! I'll be looking for your quilt. I have one in miniature too, but it's really different methods so probably won't do well. It's fun to show though.
I just got my call from the visitors bureau, they have me set up with a place to stay. (that's a happy thing)
                            See you there.
