I'll be there Friday and Saturday and maybe Sunday. This is my first show - will I need 3 days to see everything? Or will two be sufficient? I'll be dragging my non-quilting mom around and I'm not sure if she'll be up to all 3 days. Although she did offer to go with me and she does like when I make her quilts
I'm sad TQS won't 'officially' be there, but I'm looking forward to the show and meeting TQS members there. -Tina

I look forward to meeting you Tina..and your Mom. I have brought my sister and cousin to quilt shows and neither of them quilt, but had a great time seeing all the wonderful quilts and people who make them! Your Mom just might love every minute of the 3 days if you decide you need that much time to see it all.

I'm going to try to hang around the Superior Threads booth at 1 on Thursday. I hope to meet some of you then! I will be going back on Sunday, my non quilting, non sewing daughter wants to go. She's an artist and said it's like going to an art gallery. I beg to differ, I think it's so much better than going to an art gallery, it's not boring!Originally posted by KakeMHi all...I have received a note from Bob the Thread Guy and he is very happy to have his booth be the meet and greet site at Road2Ca. Show. I will be there on Thursday and Friday to meet and have a chat with y'all! Won't be long now. Whoo Hoo!!
I just checked the 10 day weather forecast and it said sunny and 68 for Ontario. Very nice! I hope you all enjoy your time in our beautiful southern California!

I am really hoping to be there Thursday. I gotta see if DH can drive me. I can drive myself but lately the MS has been causing me some problems with my legs so I gotta get some help. I only live about an hour away so I'm going to punk my buddy Domita into driving my car down there if DH can't do it! LOL

Anyone going to the Road2Ca show who would like to join up with other TQS members for a delicious dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ on Friday night just let me know at the meet & greet or here on the Forum. If you like BBQ this is a good place to get messy and enjoy good food.
Famous Dave's BBQ
11470 4th St
Rancho Cucamonga, CA
(909) 937-3000
We will meet about 6pm. From the Convention Center: Turn on N. Vineyard Ave going towards the mountains, make a right on to E. 4th St. It is about 3 miles . Restaurant is on the left side so you will have to U-turn at Gurnee Ave and back track to Dave's!
Hope to see you there.

I don't think I'll be able to make it to dinner, darnit. I WILL be hanging around the Superior booth around 1pm both Friday and Saturday for a Meet & Greet, though. I haven't decided if we're going to be there on Sunday yet... A 'grown-up' day at Disneyland is calling  (I don't get there much without the kids)... ANYway, I am looking forward to seeing you all at Road2Ca.
