    Going to Houston in 2010?

I am wondering if anyone who is going to the show in Houston this year would be willing to do me a big favor? I got a quilt into one of the special exhibits (In The American Tradition 2010) but am not going to be able to make the trip to see it hanging in Houston. I was wondering if someone
would be willing to try to find my quilt for me and take a picture of it hanging there. I would be so thankful!!! I was so excited to find out that my quilt was accepted, but so disappointed that I would not be able to see it there.

Hi Lori, I'm going to Houston this fall (my first time!!), and I'd be happy to take a photo for you, but could you send me an email to remind me closer to the time? I'm going to be on the Country Heritage Tour, so I'll be leaving home on November 1st. How exciting for you!! but it must be so hard that you can't go see it!! Best wishes, Robin

I am! My sisters and I are meeting in Houston that week. We will be staying with my older sister near Houston and going to the show!

Remind me about your quilt when it gets closer in time, and I will definitely photograph it for you!

Thanks for the offers of help, and I will be sure to send reminder emails as we get closer to November. I am so excited that I will be able to see pictures of what the quilt will look like as it hangs in Houston. I have been to Paducah, but have no idea what Houston is like....I would love to hear more about it if anyone would care to share some Houston memories! Thanks, Lori

I went to the Houston show for the very first time in 2009. It has spoiled me for any other shows. It is so huge that it takes a couple days to see everything. You really do need to experience the Houston show in the future! I am also willing to take photos of your quilt. If a few of us take pictures, you are sure to get at least a couple good shots.
