JoAnne, Keith I will definitely be at the TQS booth at 1 pm on Friday. Also today I heard from Carolyn Teter (Seesaw) that she is in the area and will be at Road also on Friday for a meet and greet. How fun. I hope everyone will drive safely....the driving weather looks good for tomorrow...coming home on Tues may not be so dry...rain and snow predicted...Oh my I may have to go to Las Vegas and hold up at my sisters until the storms go away...hows that for a good idea?
    See you on Friday.

Well, I didn't make it back over to Road to California today. I was there all day yesterday and then on to a guild meeting. I was exhausted when I got home. When I totaled up the amount I spent yesterday, I decided that I had better stay home today.

It was a great pleasure to give Alex a hug on her birthday. What a treat! We also have very nice weather for her special day.

Wandering around, seeing all the incredible quilts, I completely forgot to go back to the TQS booth at 1PM. Sometimes it's hard to think when surrounded by so much beauty. The talent represented in that room was amazing! While I was white gloving, I heard so many wows on just the four quilts where I was working.

Road to CA was wonderful! So many gorgeous and awe-inspiring quilts! AND I got to meet Karen/KakeM and Carolyn/Seesaw and some of their friends - It was great meeting you Karen and Carolyn!

Alex doesn't look a day older - and her hair was cute. I missed her lecture because of a big family dinner. But Superior Bob's lecture was very good.

I only bought one yard of fabric but I bought about 18 spools of thread and some quilting templates. I've taught myself to follow plastic shapes on my domestic machine like the long-armers do...

Sorry, I should blog instead of forum-post...

Road to CA 2010 was great! Everybody should go in 2011. Excellent mix of traditional, innovative and art quilts!
