    TQS addiction--should I be worried?

I find I read TQS several times a day! I've learned so much and made friends and just had a lot of fun. The other day I saw a news item about "you may be addicted" to the internet if you just can't stay away. Hmm, should I be worried? LOL

As long as it's not interfering seriously with your life, just enjoy it.

You are looking at it the wrong way. TQS is your support group and you are checking in for support.

I was wondering the same thing. Especially the other night when both Ricky and Justin were in one of my dreams! How odd  !

If it's an addiction, count me in! I am constantly turning to TQS to see if anything new is happening - and to check in on my friends! Guess I must be in need of a support group right now - so I'm not giving it up!

This made me laugh out loud. I haven't dreamt of the people on TQS but I think that I am addicted also. I find it difficult to miss a day.

Well, I also am addicted! This is cheaper than therapy, believe I know I work for a psychologist and this is much better. I was just telling my mom how much I love fabric and she said I get from several generations and I can't help myself. YIPPEE!!

                So lets enjoy our addiction!

I think I am a full fledged member of the support group now too. It is really hard to miss a day. I need to check in and see how everyone is doing. I love watching the quilt gallery grow too. So many more inspiring quilts to drool over! Sandi in FL

I am definitely addicted and proud of it. I check in several times a day. My excuse is that UK is on different time zones to usa. So in the morning I may find UK posts on the forum, but by the time I go to bed our friends across the pond have been active on the website and I need to check again before I can sleep peacefully. Lol

I know I'm addicted.......and proud to be so just like all of you. A couple of weeks ago, I had to be in a meeting for several hours and so I took my computer. I made sure I sat at the end of the large conference table so nobody could see my screen. The meeting started, and I was clicking along the entire first hour with everybody there thinking I was taking notes....when actually I was in the chat room with "The Three Sisters". .......I had to smile every time I thought about it. Somebody asked me for a copy of my notes after the meeting.....so I came home, wrote some notes, and waalah, a great night was had by all.

This site brings so much joy to my life.

Dana, you are so funny! I'm an addict and proud of it! I check in several times a day to TQS. If I can't, I get terribly irritable! ops: I get real annoyed with people at work when they interrupt my sneak into TQS. It helps the stress level to see what all my TQS friends are doing! I've asked DH for a laptop so that I can keep up when I'm in Houston. Don't think I'll get it but it doesn't hurt to ask! I hate when I get behind on what's going on here.

Dana, that's funny! Yes I'm at work right now and flip screens between phone calls to TQS.
