    computer projector

    Ricky,

I have recently tried using a computer projector for tracing larger designs - really liked it - and now I'm thinking of purchasing one of my own. What brand projector do you use and are there any tips/ considerations you can give me as I start my search? Of course I got interested in this as a result of the Rhapsody Quilts!
Thanks in advance for any info.

There are TONS to choose from. The best thing to do is to determine what your use will be. If it is transferring designs from time to time - get something inexpensive. If you are going to give presentations to groups, get something larger.

A computer projector is a projector that you hook to your computer and it projects slides, pictures, etc onto a screen or wall or paper that you've hung on the wall. They are often used for power point presentations.
I took a digital picture of a design I had drawn, loaded it on my computer, hooked up a computer projector to my computer and projected it onto the wall where I had hung a large piece of freezer paper. Then, I traced the design - I'll use it for applique

That sounds so cool. I had heard of power point projectors, but I didn't know they were the same thing. Thanks.
