Ricky is teaching in England 4 April 2012

For all the English quilters Ricky will be teaching in Oldham, Lancs on 4 April 2012. According to my calculations that is Easter week.
The details are on a member's blog posted today. Check it out.

Pam, thank you so much for this message and for the private email you sent me. You are right it's the week before Easter, so a school holiday. I turbo-charged myself (just close your eyes and picture that!! ), crash-landed on the Patchwork Parade website and bought my ticket. Yes! Punching air!! Ricky, be warned..... Lorchen is coming!!

I have no idea where Oldham is. Lancashire is on the other side of England from where I live. But who cares?!

Skipping around the room (should feel like a minor earthquake, wherever you are)...... No chocolade Easter eggs for me, but Ricky instead!!

Whoever organized this: Can I, please, buy you a drink because you put this in a school holiday, making it possible for me!

Lorchen, I am SOOO excited for you!

You might need to request some of your birthday present/cash from the family in advance  because you will fall in love with Ricky's hand dyes. They are scrumptious!!! You will spend the rest of your life fondling them unless you can gather up the courage to cut them :-)

BTW Oldham looks to be about an 82 miles crosscountry journey for you.

Thanks everybody!! And because I'm on holiday that week I can recover from the 1600+ cats (regular forum fans will understand) for a couple of days before heading across to "Awesome Oldham".

Wow! That sounds like it will be lots of fun. Good for you, Lorchen. It's 3 hours from me. I'll have to see if I can get someone to cover me. I'd love to attend.
