For anyone out there not yet on the receiving end of a fabulous muggie...

Boy, am I going to make you jealous...

Home from work just now and checked the mailbox, the contents?
    1 local paper
1 income tax invoice (we don't have the income tax taken from our salary,
but receive a 'nice' invoice once a year...
Just in time for the summer holidays).

    and...
    The 'piece de resistance':

1 brown envelope with a Royal Mail postage mark:

    And when I opened it:

Yes there is a little baby chook on it too!!! A chook just for me! I think we're off to go surfing, and there's a kite waiting for when the water's too cold (or when the sharks are hungry?)

    Oh I love you all!!!
What a fabulous day it was when I found my first The Quilt Magazine, and the reference for TQS inside it!
Definitely life changing & oh so life enhancing, fab fab fab!

Imagine! in one day my Dickie bird from S Australia met the two Dickie birds from the UK, and there's no squabbling at all. Include the two from Lois in the USA,and we're having a grand old time! Good thing I don't have a cat!

Jane, I'm a bit behind because of Chinese Whispers and just started up on the second half of mug rugs I've committed to but would be delighted to add you to the list!

glad they went down well. I used a cup before sending to check they are fit for purpose but it's been fun trying ou techniques and fabrics like the scrim and felt.

Will get on with your's next Sue. I love Robyn and patti's birdies and Lotti's little cheerful scene from Sue. Is that a beach hut I see on the mugrug Lotti received from Patti :P 8) 8)

Thank you Renata--please put me on your list and send me your address. These mug rugs have been so much fun to make and I agree with Wendy--get to try new things on a small scale without going crazy on something large.
