Lovely Australian mug rugs! I have a couple of mug rugs all packaged up, but not sure when I will be able to make it to a post office. I had been going to the Boulder post office to post things internationally, but I guess I'm going to have to trust the smaller mountain post offices for now since it's quite a long drive to Boulder with all of the mountain roads out! With the current roads, it would take me probably 2.5-3 hours to get to Boulder when it usually takes about 30 minutes. Don't think I'll be going there any time soon!

Oh Nancy it sounds terrible the way the roads have been wrecked. I find our local post office which is in a tiny village works even more efficiently than the bigger town. And the same goes for Dingle post office. It seems to get there faster from Dingle than from Dublin. Please stay safe. Hugs, Rita.

I had just heard on the forum that a lot of the small post offices didn't know about customs forms so I was using the bigger post office that does this a lot. Otherwise, I've always used my local post office for everything because I like them a lot and I want to keep them in business. But since I know about customs forms now, that may not be a big deal. So I'll try to get things out soon. We have a break on Wed afternoon, so maybe I'll see if I can find the Breckenridge post office.

Our local post office is small and they don't care one way or the other. Some of you ladies across the pond received your mug rug from me faster than the ones here in the states.
Geneva--I have not forgotten you--I just haven't been in my studio for over a week. I will let you know when yours is winging it's way to you.
Patti Kaplan--would you like to exchange muggies?

Came across reference to a quilting ufo group over at myquiltplace.com http://myquiltplace.com/group/ufos.....
'Sometimes the UFO group gets distracted. Among the nearly 350 “pages” of group conversation, you’ll see tips on gardening, canning, allergies, dogs, recipes, and those most-loved WIPS, their husbands, children, and grandchildren.'
There you go, then. perfectly normal behaviour   8)

Friends, I have not forgotten the mug rug I promised either. Like I have said many times. Life just gets in the way sometimes. For the last 3 weeks I have been watching sick grandkids. Some virus causing headaches and a high fever. Mom and Dad both work, so that just leaves me to watch them. I have been sneaking a few minutes sewing whenever I can. I also have a quilt on the longarm that needs to be done by next Wednesday. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten. Love to all.
