Okay, I just realized that the eye rolly guy sent the wrong message in my last post, but he's my favorite!

Actually, that was pretty funny, Nancy--that makes you one of the crazies too!

I can't believe all the chattering that's been going on and I've missed it. I rely on email reminders that something has been added to a thread. I have been getting other reminders but none for this thread. Now you will all begin to believe I am not as excited as the rest of you about this challange. I have never in my entire life done anything like this challenge. I am eager but you know what they say about "fools rushing in where....." I will do my very best to finish before my time alotment is up. I promised myself this summer that I was going to stay home more next summer than this year so this fits right in with my plans. As for a trip to Scotland in 2014, the thought crossed my mind but I all I can say is that I will continue to think about it. I will have to see if I could fit it into my budget. Sounds like lots of fun and I would certainly like to meet all of you. Sorry to have been late to the chatter.

Lois, I've found out that for some reason e-mail not always keep me up to date on the forum. I usually click "View new posts" or "View your posts" links on the second row at the top of the screen.

Now we're talking! That could've been a good name "Crazy Whispers"   No, I'm not suggesting to change it  I think we have a great name but, the last few posts made me think of it

Italian Marilyn. I do speak some Italian. Although I have lost most of it due to the lack of practice  I can read it better that I can speak. I was learning about 12 years ago when I was going to Milano to fashion design school. A story for some other time

Holy cow! I go to bed and then wake up to 2 more pages of comments! You all were busy last night.

Whew!! I am glad it isn't judged. That is a huge relief. I agree with sending an email photo of the finished quilt to the next person in line as you put the box in the mail.

But to be true to the game, I think it should only be a photo and not a description or interpretation.

I agree Lorna, glad you mentioned this. By description I meant: size, fabric colors (some colors won't read true in photos, eg. red-orange, blue-purple, etc.) more like physical characteristics. Definitely not an interpretation, nor an explanation of the design.

Here's another question  Should we consider making a label we can all use, changing only the maker's name and location in it? Like something we can print on fabric? Oh boy! I'm thinking too much ops:  Can you tell I'm really excited with this project
