THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, SoTTT's MEMBERS!!!
I don't even know how to begin to say thank you for all of the beautiful blocks that you created for me as a remembrance of our SoTTT exchange and the very generous monetary gift from so many of you. And to those of you who conspired to pull this off without me knowing about, Dawn Siden (Scoopie), Barbara Marcone (MakesGeese), Margo, Debbie Kendall and Rosemary Cousins, you did it!!!
I was totally blown away by all the wonderful blocks that I received from the United States, Provinces in Canada, Territories in Australia, and our other participating countries. The thought, time, effort and creativity put into each block was phenomenal. You have touched my heart and I will be forever grateful.
Rosemary, your presentation box was incredibly creative and surprisingly musical! You have a wonderful talent and are extremely generous and I sincerely thank you for that.
I had such a wonderful time at the TQS Dinner and I loved that I was able to meet so many of our SoTTT participants and other TQS members there, and also had a chance to meet even more of you at the TQS Meet & Greets. For those of you who were not able to see all the blocks, Dawn will be creating a Smilebox with pictures of these very special blocks and posting it on the TQS site, hopefully by the end of next week once she finally gets back to Montana and has a chance for some R&R. She put in such a tremendous effort on my behalf. In fact, I believe her efforts were right up there with the actual SoTTT exchange because she did so much to make it happen.
Now..do you want to know what I was able to purchase with your very generous gift? It was something I really, really wanted...the Accuquilt Go! Fabric Cutter along with a few dies, including the two Sarah Vedeler dies which can be used in the 2012 TQS BOM. I'm soooo excited and can't wait to start playing with it!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER!!!!!

Dawn;
Thanks for all the coordination with getting the blocks together for our coordinators of the SOTT’s group. I sew much wanted to say that I would be there in spirit when asked it I was going. Debbie, can’t wait to see the quilt you make out of our donated blocks, does anyone have a video of the presentation of the blocks? Surprised faces, etc to post for those of us who couldn’t make the show?

I just wanted to let everyone who so generously made blocks and contributed money, I will be sending each of you a personal thank-you note. Since there are so many who did that, it is going to take some time, so please bear with me. I still have my 'day job' and since I took the week of quilt festival off, I'm having a lot of catching up to do on it. I can't wait until my time is my own come January and maybe I can spend more time on the Forum and the Blog...and, of course, finishing my HST quilt and coming up with a design for all of the blocks you made.
I do love you all...and I really do mean that! Thank you again and again and again.

Debbie, while I was making a block for you I kept thinking of all the kind, considerate, generous things you did for us to make this SoTTT exchange a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime quilting event! I can't say enough thank you's to you for accepting the almost one-quarter of a million HSTs which, when placed end to end, would have approximately equaled the length of THREE FOOTBALL FIELDS!
Unbelievable!!! 8)
Hugs forever!
Shirley
PS: Luv the new profile photo of you and Dawn...you two look so happy as SoTTT sister-friends! 8)

You are so right, Nancy. I believe we have all made 'forever friends' through TQS and our three exchanges.

I have been away from the Forum for such a long time and am just getting back to it. I agree with everything Shirley said and more.
I was really sorry not to have been at Houston this year especially the dinner. I feel that I have missed so much.
Thank you Debbie from the bottom of my heart for all that you, Clara and all your helpers did.
I hope you enjoy all the blocks and will feed of the memories for years to come

I would like to express my thanks to you for all the hard work you put in, how wonderful it would have been to be able to come over for the
event. I was just so excited to have been chosen to make the block for you and how great is it to see all of them posted, if you are wondering
what the little red and black flower is in the corner by the kangaroo it is the Sturt Pea the floral emblem for South Australia. What fun we all
had and what a wonderful group of ladies. God bless you all

This project has been a lot of fun. Wish I could have been in Houston to join in the fun. Actually I've never been to a big quilt show...maybe someday. I'm glad I was able to participate though (NE block). Thanks to Dawn for the Smilebox! I'm about ready to put my binding on my HST quilt...and now I'm working on my strip exchange quilt.
