JoJo,
Love your quilt and it's a good thing I do because that is the same layout I am using for mine! I don't have much done yet. Things just keep getting in the way of my sewing time. I was wondering though.... do you know the name of this layout/block? I had just been playing around on EQ6 when I decided on it but I know I've seen it before somewhere else.Lesley

I am ready to sandwich and quilt but, I couldn't resist sending a picture now! I saw this pattern in 1997 in an issue of BH&G American Patchwork and Quilting. Jill Reber is the designer. The quilt measures 63"X63". I get bored with some repetitive quilt piecing------but, I loved putting this quilt together! Not knowing what pattern I would use I didn't know how many hst's to exchange. I needed to make quite a bit more the scrappy way and I enjoyed the whole process. I didn't keep the papers but, I did write the state or country on the pieces to have some documentation. Thank you for letting me be a part. Hugs to you all. Judith

Credit for that title belongs to Debbie Wolf!!Originally posted by ladyzI have an overdue question. Where did the name "sisterhood of the traveling triangles" come from? I have to admit the name is what got my attention and first made we want to become a part of this wonderful experience. Nice work to whoever came up with our title.

 Thanx, Rosemary! That puts a different spin on "my" interpretation of the original comment!  :mrgreen:Originally posted by PosyPI think that the general concensus was that we were drunk on hst's

Soooo, I'm Shirley Forster and I'm an official Habitual "HST" Drunkard"...because I just finished my 4th 24" LeMoyne Star made from approximately 2/3rds of your precious HSTs, and it was totally intoxicating!! I'm glad I waited to work on my quilt because it was fun placing the name, face, personality, humor, fabulous ideas, colors, textures, and personal life stories attached to each HST. I was smiling from ear to ear the past 11 days when I was at my design board and sewing machine. All of your HST papers are taped onto 4 separate 24" sheets so I have a written permanent record of each beautiful HST! The 4 sheets will hang behind my wall quilt when it's finished! Now, comes more fun...the SSs and Rickys! Oh I just love being an HST addict!!!
Hugs,
Shirley
