No need to be embarrassed. We understand where you were coming from.
Sure that whoever it was must have something going on.

I haven't heard from my swap partner recently either and haven't received a parcel. But I am assuming that life just got too crazy and she has not been able to complete this swap.

It makes me very sad to hear this.

I absolutely understand that sometimes "life gets in the way", but receipt of a handmade project should be acknowledged,
and if it's not possible to reciprocate, then apologies are definitely in order.

          It called common courtesy.

Don't be embarrassed. We have all felt disappointed and know the frustration. The offer still stands.

              Hi Deb,
I'm answering this on the forum partly due to being so officially in the "hall of shame." I am so sorry. As someone said, life did get in the way. The dog is in his last few weeks of life (it's been quite a roller coaster) and my husband had a scan and we're in the waiting mode again until the next scan for word on a spot that showed up. Your potholders are 90% done. All I have to do is bind them and get them on their way to you. I keep remembering and forgetting. But there's no excuse for my not letting you know where they were since the last time we emailed. Please forgive, I will do my best to get them done this weekend. I appreciate your patience so much and sincere apologies for keeping you wondering.

Not a problem at all Pat. I will look forward to getting them when you are able to finish. I hope all is well with your husband. Waiting is not pleasant.

I was very pleasantly surprised yesterday to find an unexpected packet in my mailbox, postmarked from Peachtree City, Georgia. It contained two lovely "green" potholders, made with a leafy green binding, soft blue denim, and striped linen! They were sent by an anonymous well-wisher, who said they were a gift of sisterly love and signed her name only with a heart! To you, whoever you are, thank you!! You brought a smile to *my* heart with your kindness, and I will think of you every time I use my new potholders.

Latest arrivals in the pot holder swap I received this wonderful selection from Beth/Torack23, 2 fun for use flannel ones, a pretty framed picture one, and a very cheerful tea towel.

in exchange I sent -A plump bouquet of flowers that had turned more into a placemat (and this was the second attempt as the first one was a tree, but it grew to big   )
