Terri - Congratulations. I certainly hope you get your granddaughter wish come true. I too had a boy and only one. I do agree that boys are easier to raise (my family provided some that I watched from afar). Poor son, he's going to have a lot of pressure from me to produce MANY grands! I'm even mean enough to hope he has a girl to deal with!

Terrie,
Congratulations on your many blessings!
If I could, I would come to visit you & we could do a happy dance together, but in the meantime,
this will have to substitute:

And I'm thinking that "cheeky" is a wonderful way to describe my 2 grandsons!
Wish you all many blessings!

A sincere and hearty thank you for all your support and congratulations all around on my good news.
I love this sisterhood ( though I know there are a few guys amongst us!). I agree with the idea of not ever having enough HSTs. I also want to make every pattern I see. It would be neat to see what we could do just limiting the colours to say, for example, red and white HSTs This event has and will end up taking almost a year from seed idea to a published book! Wow - we're making history here, girls (and guys).
BTW - if 'allowed' I'd like to plug for my now pregnant daughter-in law's Blog. It is called "www.simplebites.com" She won first place for best new Canadian blog over all categories for 2010.
She tells about her news there too!

quick correction: http://www.simplebites.net
congratulations terrie - i do like your grandsons from what you mentioned - they seem very spunky kids
like the website - couldn't find anything useful under .com tried .ca that didn't exist but they suggested the .net version and yeahhhhh success
i'm with you all on theose extra HSTs and yes terrie, an all red & white limitation would also be very interesting (that red&white exhibition has us all thinking about our own version, i think) but where to find the time ???Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

Thanks for your computer savvy, Lotti - I had tried several different endings, org/ca/com, but ended up just thinking I should have just put "Simple Bites" and people could find their way around - smart people like you! And, yes, we all need more time! Maybe I need a time management course, but where would I find the time to take it? :lol:Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

Absolutely, agree wholeheartedly about the time to take a course!! Lotti, have a couple of your hst's and I am having a horrible time deciding what to do with my wonderful assortment! How can I possibly assign each to just one place in the arrangement when most would look wonderful in several different arrangements?! I think my next goal must be to make a few (lot?) of neutrals to allow the exchanges to "star". Jackie

A big hello and hug from Canada. I've finally pressed and removed the papers from my HST's. They are so beautiful. I'm going to play with them today and decide what pattern to do. I had the house to myself yesterday and again today. Even the dog is gone. It is so quiet here that I had to talk to the gold fish in our small pond. I walk ed away when I said to myself 'they are so cute'. It's so beautiful again today that I've set myself up in the back yard. My HST's are calling me so I better get back to them. Bye for now...Doreen
